Save the Date! WIN-BIG Final Event

After more than three years of research, conversations, learning and collaboration across Europe's sea basins, WIN-BIG is coming together one last time to look at what we've learned, what we've achieved and, most importantly, what comes next.

The WIN-BIG Final Event will bring together project partners, researchers, policymakers, Blue Economy professionals and stakeholders to explore the project's key results and discuss how they can continue to make a difference beyond the end of the project.

From gender data and research to skills development, networking, women's stories and policy recommendations, the day will be an opportunity to take stock of the WIN-BIG journey and look ahead to the future of gender equality in Europe's Blue Economy.

A closer look at the project's key results and resources, including the gender status research, networking activities, capacity-building work and the stories and tools created throughout the project.

Women Ocean Champions Exhibition
The official opening of the exhibition showcasing women shaping Europe's Blue Economy through their work, ideas and experiences.

Roundtable: Advancing Gender Equality in the EU and the Blue Economy, Beyond WIN-BIG
A conversation about what needs to happen next, and how the work towards a more inclusive Blue Economy can continue beyond the project.

Women Ocean Champions Book
A special moment to celebrate the 100 women whose stories are featured in the book and share copies of this major WIN-BIG result.

Women from the Sea – Significant Gestures
We'll close the day with the Portugal premiere of the EU episode of Women from the Sea – Significant Gestures, produced by Help Images and directed by Raquel Clemente Martins.
