Women across Europe are shaping the future of the Blue Economy, from marine research and coastal innovation to sustainable business and ocean stewardship. Strengthening the skills, confidence and visibility of women in ocean sectors is essential to ensure a more inclusive and resilient blue economy.

The WIN-BIG e-learning programme brings together practical knowledge and real experiences shared during the project’s Learning Labs across Europe’s sea basins. These sessions were designed to address concrete challenges identified by women working in the Blue Economy and to support them in developing the skills needed to grow their careers, build initiatives, and inspire others.

Each module is based on recordings from the Learning Labs organised during WIN-BIG sea basin events, where experts, practitioners and women ocean leaders shared tools, experiences and practical guidance. The sessions have been adapted into accessible video lessons that can be followed at your own pace.

All learning materials are freely available and designed to be used by individuals, organisations, training providers and networks interested in advancing women’s participation and leadership in ocean sectors.
