Unique opportunity for high school girls in the blue economy!

NCE Blue Legasea, with support from Møre and Romsdal County Municipality, is offering a one-day internship for a group of high school girls at three different companies.

Unique opportunity for high school girls in the blue economy!

The girls are studying at relevant school programs and this initiative aims to give hands-on experience in the blue industry and highlight career opportunities in this growing sector.

During the visit, students will be introduced to different departments, participate in ongoing projects, and learn about sustainability and innovation within the company. They will be gaining practical experience and learning about the daily operations of the business. Importantly, they will also meet female leaders who will share their experiences and provide guidance on pursuing careers in ocean-based industries.

This initiative offers students valuable knowledge and networking opportunities, potentially sparking interest in future careers within the industry. For participating companies, it provides a chance to showcase their commitment to diversity and engage with the next generation of talent.

The internships will take place during fall 2024. We will return later on with updated information and pictures from the visits!
